On January 11th, Honest Weight Food Co-op presented a check worth $10,163 to The Food Pantries for the Capital District at the offices of the Food Pantries on Essex Avenue in Albany. The funds are the result of a two-month long donations drive held at the neighboring grocery store and may provide as many as 63,518 meals for hungry people in the Capital District.
