Celebrating Apples and Cheese with Nine Pin Cider and All Over Albany!
On Monday, we were lucky enough to join local heroes Nine Pin Cider and All Over Albany at Nine Pin's tasting room on Broadway for a cider and cheese pairing event!
Our cheesemongers supplied a selection of four locally-produced cheeses to taste and Nine Pin paired a group of cider varieties to compliment the cheeses (or is it the other way around?). Two of our local producers, Patrick Apfel from Cochran Farm and Sylvia Stoltzfus from Jake's Gouda joined us to describe the cheesemaking process to enthusiastic attendees.
To finish off the night, we enjoyed ice cream from The Dutch Udder in Troy -- Nine Pin cider sorbet and Philly vanilla -- thanks to The Capital Team at RealtyUSA.
Thanks to everyone who came and to Alejandro del Peral, Nine Pin Cider, Mary Darcy, and All Over Albany-we had a blast!
