Happy National Bike to Work Month!
Did you know that May is National Bike Month? 🚲 Lots of our staff members bike to work each day--many of them year round!--but this month, we're participating in the Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) Bike to Work Day Workplace Challenge on May 17th!
Employers in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties are competing for a series of awards, including Highest Participation Rate, Largest Team, and Longest Commute. And let's just say things are looking pretty good for Team HWFC in at least one of those categories 😏
As part of our enironmental sustainability focus, Honest Weight incentivizes biking for staff and member-owners through a program that pays either cash or time investment hours, respectively, for each shift to which an employee or member-owner bikes to. We also have lockers for bike storage during shifts.
Team members, document your ride on social media and use the hashtag #b2w518 and enter to win a free month of CDPHP Cycle! bikeshare, free CDTA monthly bus pass or an iPool2 gym bag from CDTC!
Let's 👏🏼 go 👏🏼 Team 👏🏼 Honest 👏🏼 Weight 👏🏼 2019! 🚲
