Honest Weight Food Co-op is a consumer cooperative, which means that it is owned by the people who shop here. Consumer owners and member-owners exercise their ownership by investing in co-op ownership interests, patronizing the store, and electing a board of directors to hire, guide, and evaluate the management who run day-to-day operations.

Cheese
Seeking Member Owners to help Shelby study for the Certified Cheese Sensory Evaluator Exam. Help Shelby pass with flying colors by adding scents/seasings/essential oils to milk and giving her a blind test on identifying the scents. Reach out to Shelby for times and dates.

Grocery
Seeking Member Owners for Refrigerator & Freezer Stocking shifts on Wednesday afternoon, from 1 PM TO 4 PM. Seeking Member Owners for Bread Stocking shifts on Friday late mornings. Seeking Member Owners for Dry Goods Stocking shifts on Monday late mornings. Seeking folks who don't mind being cold, pay attention to detail, and like to make things look neat.

Empire State Plaza (Food Court)
            Seeking Member Owners with customer service experience for fixed weekly commitments at the Empire State Plaza Cafe. Current vacancies are Monday, Tuesday, Friday (10 AM to 1 PM OR 11 AM to 2 PM). This consistency helps us make the best use of our limited workspace and maintain smooth operations.

Bakery
            Seeking Member Owners to work shifts on Mondays and Thursdays from 6 AM to 9 AM. This shift helps the opening baker clean and restock the bakery case, package items for sale, tray up items and set the baker up for the next day.

            Seeking Member Owners with customer service experience for fixed weekly commitments, to help customers discover new faves by offering samples of featured items.
